Sisters Dawn Oliveira and Deborah Olson have joined forces, after following very different life paths. Dawn, a fashion industry veteran has more than 20 years of New York experience running her own design studio, D.O.T. Studio Inc. Deb began her studies as an art major before completing her B.A. in Russian, and then worked with a tour company out of Boston, leading Americans through Russia's greatest cities.

These sisters would never have predicted that one day they would be in shouting distance of one another, much less risking it all to become 40-something entrepreneurs. They chose to go with a proven talent for design and incorporate eco-conscious principles in a product that would promote awareness of healthy alternatives in the market. Their research continues with help of industry leaders like The Organic Trade Association and Co-op America who are resolute about re-examining the way we produce textiles in this country.

Oliveira Textiles will establish itself as the next generation provider of printed, sustainable textiles for a natural and healthy home.
